中西部Indiana的CARMEL位于Indianapolis北郊，一直都是一个比较有名的地方，记得我早年Business Trip的时候，在机场碰到闲聊的老美，听说我住在INDIANA，会有人说，是CARMEL吧？its considered a compliment to me.
CARMEL发展得越来越好，2025年居民人口达到105，634，被highway 31 分成东CARMEL和西CARMEL，近年来好几次登顶NATIONAL BEST PLACE的榜首，#1 特色是十字路口的交通灯拆除，都改成ROUND ABOUT，不仅仅看上去更养眼，车流也更顺畅，大的ROUND ABOUT有雕塑绿植等装饰。
