8月22日消息，《福布斯》杂志周三公布本年度王室富豪榜，泰王普密蓬跃升榜首，去年首位的文莱苏丹博尔基亚则跌落第4位。最富有15个王室的总财富由去年的950亿美元，升至1,310亿美元。
由于泰王的投资控股公司透明度大增，令其已知财产较去年升7倍至350亿美元。博尔基亚减少文莱的石油产量，令其财富减至200亿美元，是仅两名身家“缩水”的君主之一，另一人是摩洛哥国王。
中东国家的王室受惠于油价急升，阿联酋总统兼阿布扎比酋长哈利法以230亿美元身家进占次席。阿布扎比的石油占阿联酋的95%，其国营投资机构近年作出多项高调投资，包括以75亿美元收购花旗集团股份。
英女王伊利沙伯二世仅以6.5亿美元排第12位。英女王的财富主要来自在英格兰和苏格兰的物业，以及祖父留下的艺术品、宝石和邮票收藏。
