男人抢手是因为供需失调。一位俄罗斯女孩如此形容：“因为男人少，不管什么样的男人也会有人抢，约会还可以让女生等很久。”俄罗斯男女比例差很多，1.41亿人口，男女比例是0.859：1，换句话说，1000名女性只对应859名男性。而65岁以上的人口，1000名女性，只对应456名男性

嗜烟酗酒 15岁以上阴盛阳衰
其实15岁以下是男多于女，15岁以上逐渐女多于男，而且愈老差愈多，原因是男性死亡率高、平均寿命低。俄罗斯经历过革命和两次大战，原就折损了不少壮丁，有些家庭甚至是三代寡妇。加上男性猛抽烟、爱喝酒、饮食重咸重油、意外事故多，因此现在平均寿命约59岁，女性则是73岁，足足差了14年。

离婚率逾八成 年减75万人
为了吸引男性，俄罗斯小姐一个比一个正，腰细腿长，该凸显的绝不藏私。大部分都早婚，许多20岁就已经嫁了。但男人身价好，常常就不乖，俄罗斯的离婚率高达83％，1000对结婚男女中，有600多对撑不到一年就分手。

俄罗斯政府近来大力鼓励运动及生育，第一胎每月补助1500卢布，第二胎每月3000卢布。周末电视还播A片，希望激励民众的“性趣”。
目前，俄罗斯生育数量已出现回升，2007年出生人口为160万，比前一年多了20万，创下15年来的新高。但育龄女性会从2013年开始减少，因此人口危机尚未结束，看来大娘们还得再多撑着点
