然而，Autumn生在一个贫寒的家庭，家庭年收入仅有美国贫困线的一半，贫困街区的生活环境既无法满足她在物质上的需求，也不能给予多少感情上的慰籍。因为逃课，Autumn在学校里成绩很差，留过2次级。她想要稳定的恋人，但是与同龄男孩的交往也常常持续不了几周。Autumn说，当她满18岁的时候，要从父母家中搬出去，尝试自己新的生活，然而，对她来说，想要脱离成长环境的禁锢，依然充满了变数，未来迷茫。
