北京时间2008年9月23日凌晨，2010年南非世界杯吉祥物——豹子扎库米（Zakumi）在南非首都约翰内斯堡正式亮相，这只小豹子被设定为1994年出生，象征着新南非共和国的成立。在今后，它将成为人们熟知的又一个经典世界杯吉祥物。
