中新网7月15日电 法国巴黎14日举行大型国庆阅兵典礼，多个国家的领袖都有出席观礼。 据《星岛日报》报道，当天士兵穿上整齐的军服，列队走过凯旋门。法国总统萨科齐在国防部长陪同下乘坐军车，向围观的民众挥手。萨科齐之后来到军乐队前，乐队奏起国歌。萨科齐在检阅台与外国元首逐一握手后，一起阅兵。
除了法国军队，还有联合国部队的坦克。战机喷出法国国旗红、白、蓝三种颜色的烟雾；还有直升机及跳伞表现。
刚出席完首次地中海联盟峰会的40多名国家元首应邀出席，但以色列总理奥尔默特及叙利亚总统巴沙尔，在典礼上两人都避免正面接触。而联合国秘书长潘基文邀请他们一起闲谈，都被奥尔默特拒绝。
