记者从希腊奥委会获悉,女祭司们已经开始在古奥林匹亚遗址实地排练,并且于20日中午取得了第一个火种。
女祭司们是18日抵达奥林匹亚开始实地排练的。由于19日当地天气不好,当天的彩排未能取得火种。
据了解,从现在开始,女祭司每天都要在古奥林匹亚遗址排练并采集圣火,取得新的火种后,将熄灭前一天采集到的火种,直到24日在正式的北京奥运圣火采集仪式上取得火种。
希腊奥委会的官员介绍,取得的火种将存放在两个火种罐里,以防止出现意外,导致火种熄灭。
他说,30日传递给北京的奥运会圣火将分装在三个火种罐里,其中,两个交给北京奥组委带回北京,另一个存放在希腊奥委会,直到奥运圣火安全抵达北京。
这位官员还透露,新的最高女祭司娜芙普利都在圣火采集仪式上表现非常出色,祈祷的声音尤其优美
