2007年7月7日，我国著名相声表演艺术家侯耀文追悼会在八宝山殡仪馆举行。
当天清晨5时18分，护送侯耀文先生遗体的车队从北医三院出发前往八宝山。5时40分左右，护送侯耀文先生遗体的灵车抵达八宝山殡仪馆，比预计时间提前近一个多小时。
尽管如此，当搜狐娱乐随车队抵达八宝山时，殡仪馆门前已有等候多时准备好花圈自发前来吊唁的群众和媒体。此时此刻，为前来吊唁的群众和相关人士准备的签到台已经搭建完毕，数米长的桌台上放着介绍侯耀文先生生平事迹的小册子，每一位前来吊唁的群众都可以通过这本小册子更详细的了解侯耀文先生以寄哀思
