之前Ella跟师弟「飞轮海」成员吴尊拍《花样少男少女》－由日本漫画改编，ella饰演瑞希，因爱慕帅哥泉（吴尊饰），她女扮男装混入男校，她常被Hebe和Selina戏称是男的，曾被爆是蕾丝边（女同志）和变性人，演男学生得心应手。而两人朝夕相处、日久生情，Ella对来自文莱的师弟特别照顾，工作人员全看在眼里，加上吴尊符合她「爱帅哥」的条件，两人恋爱之说不胫而走。

Ella与吴尊渊源颇深，有回她的jj跟朋友去看电影，偶然在路边发现吴尊，当场被他的外貌吸引，刚好朋友是经纪人，这也开启两人认识契机。之後吴尊加入「飞轮海」成了华研唱片新人，关系从朋友变师姊弟，接著又合拍《花》剧，彼此感情升温。虽然《花》剧即将光荣下档，并且两人一路来都极力否认恋情，但这段传了许久的绯闻却未因此降温。他们也似乎成为最受影迷祝福的偶像剧情侣......
