Recalling once on a flight from San Francisco to Taipei, I watched 2 biographical
movies, one on Hawking (The Theory of Everything) and the other on Turing (The Imitation Game). Near the end of The Theory of Everything, Hawking shouted "While There Is Life, There Is Hope". But sadly Turing died by suicide. I was immensely inspired by Hawkins' resilience and profoundly shocked by Turing's tragic end, the hopelessness he felt, and the suffering he endured.
