There are three reasons for this Charlie Kirk's assassination:
(1) Tyler Robinson is intelligent. He was conferred very high scholarship for college. Unlike most of his peers, he is capable of ascertaining the incorrectness and consequence of some of Charlie Kirk's speeches all by himself, irrelevant to education from family or school. He deemed that Kirk was disseminating "enough hatred, and can't be negotiated out." This prompted him to make the decision.

(2) He is immature. He is only 22 years old. He failed in appraising his decision that is unjust and futile, besides illegal. He executed his decision quite much on impulse.
(3) He is an expert at gun shooting. This endowed him with capability to assassinate. Ironically, his shooting skill at least partly results from the adamant advocacy of gun right from conservatives including Kirk himself.
Intelligence, immaturity and shooting skill together brewed the tragedy.
