roflmao i was wondering what “叮咚沟” was and soon came to know it was "ding dong ditch". on the surface ditch is referring to a trench or furrow, but on american slang, it's more being used as leave, discard, and give up. for example,
- susan ditched her boyfriend
- jack ditched his original plan
- i bought a solar controller from china, it looked great but broke on the first day use. nay, i ended up ditching it.
