TSMC's Arizona plant is making significant progress with its first fab expected to begin production in the first half of 2025.
While the first fab is on track, the second and third fabs are slated for later dates, with the second fab expected to begin production in 2028 and the third by the end of the decade, according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (.gov). The company is also accelerating its expansion plans due to increased demand for advanced chips, especially those used in AI.
