　　俄克拉荷马州紧急情况管理部发言人表示，俄克拉荷马市有2人丧生，克里夫兰镇有3人丧生。在俄克拉荷马市，一名男孩被家中不堪风袭而掉落的碎片击中死亡，还有一名男子被自己倾覆的汽车砸死。

　　相关部门表示，龙卷风还造成至少58人受伤，其中2人伤势严重。俄克拉荷马市紧急部门人员已开始挨家挨户走访，确保没有更多伤亡。

　　另据悉，龙卷风造成大面积破坏。当地电视台的画面显示，在诺曼市，很多汽车被刮翻，电线杆和大树被刮倒，大量房屋严重受损。当地气象部门在龙卷风之前已发出龙卷风警报。

　　俄克拉荷马市3.1万多户家庭因龙卷风断电。两条主要的州际公路被迫关闭。
