救助野生亚洲象为染上“毒瘾”的大象“戒毒”

　　2007年9月，不满3个月的“勇勇”右脚拖着本不该属于它的铁夹子，被营救人员送到位于野象谷的中国亚洲象种源繁育基地救护中心住院治疗。在工作人员的精心呵护和照料下，“勇勇”伤势不但有所好转，体重也由原来的136公斤长到260公斤左右。

　　“然然”是2005年7月被救助的，当时她的左脚被兽夹夹伤，伤情严重危及生命。在专业人员三年的精心护理下，“然然”伤情已基本恢复，体重由原来的 650公斤增长到1200公斤。目前救护中心正对“然然”进行野外生存适应性放养，让它逐步回到本属于它的绿色世界中去。
